SmartWomen Luncheon & Expo

Design Studio Blue was honored to be a Diamond Sponsor of the SmartWomen Luncheon & Expo. As an all-women design firm, we are incredibly proud to help raise funds for organizations like the St. Joseph’s/Candler’s Telfair Mammography Fund, which provides mammograms and other breast care services for those who cannot afford them. This annual event is an opportunity for us to take an afternoon to give back and reflect on what it means to be a part of a community of women supporting other women.

This years’ event was a wonderfully executed program, with author and community advocate Taya Kyle as the keynote speaking on resilience, faith and empowerment – themes that hit home for many in our community. It was a grand affair attended by nearly 1,400 people and at the end of the evening, we helped raise a staggering $183,743 – the most money raised in the events 17-year history – that will be used to help women who are uninsured or underinsured to receive necessary and potentially life-saving mammograms.

We are proud to be more than just an award-winning design firm and believe in supporting the communities in which we operate. We look forward to sponsoring next year’s event and raising even more funds to facilitate access to quality healthcare for all women.
